How do I use InContext Editor?

Answer

Go to the following Website address http://incontextediting.adobe.com/

Login using the provided details from Laser Red.

Once logged in

Click on Manage Sites in the Actions box on the left. Then click on your website, e.g. http://www.mywebsite.co.uk

A new window should load containing your website. Browse your website as normal until you find the page you wish to edit, then click Edit in the InContext Editing tool bar, example image below.

You should now be able to edit the website content high-lighted by a dashed box, try clicking in the box and adding some text.

You can add formatting, images and link to the content in the page by using the tools in the Incontext Editing tool bar.

Once you have finished editing the page click Done in the bottom InContext Editing tool bar, located at the bottom of the webpage.

A pop-up box should appear asking if you wish to Save Changes, Dicard Changes or Continue Editing.

Click Save Changes, then if you are happy with the page click Publish Draft in the bottom InContext Editing toolbar.

Another pop-up window will appear, asking Are you sure your wish to publish the draft? Click Publish.

The page should now be updated on your website.
