2010 marked the new look of the Scomar Office Interiors website.
Our task was to produce a more current and up to date version of their old website, seen below. We also had to make the website easy, simple and quick to use, meaning their clients could find the information they needed without having to spend hours trawling through irrelevant pages of text.
Before revamp
The new website design is very clean, making the Scomar logo and images of their work the prominent features of the page.
The images on the top of each page gently fade in and out, with a small blurb about each project that the photo’s are from, giving the client that little extra information that some photo’s need.
The menu navigation at the top of the page has drop down sub links that can quickly get the user from once page to the next with out having to click more than once to get there.
With a Content Managed System in the background Scomar’s employees can easily update their website, adding text photo’s and links, helping to make their ongoing website costs low.

This website was built using XHTML and CSS with bit of JavaScript to create the fancy effects.
